These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Birthcode (the "Service"), operated by Akira Marketing LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). By accessing or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
Birthcode generates reflective, character-style readings based on a date of birth and other information you provide. The Service is offered for personal interest, entertainment, and self-reflection only. It is not professional advice of any kind (including medical, psychological, financial, or legal advice) and should not be relied upon as such.
You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or purchase a subscription. By using the Service, you represent that you meet this requirement.
To access certain features, you create an account using your email address. Authentication is handled by our identity provider (Clerk). You are responsible for activity that occurs under your account and for keeping access to your email secure.
Except where required by law, payments are non-refundable. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access until the end of the current billing period. See the Refund & Cancellation Policy.
The Service, including its text, readings, design, and code, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by applicable laws. You may use your readings for your own personal, non-commercial purposes. You may not copy, resell, or redistribute the Service or its content.
You agree not to misuse the Service, including by attempting to access it through unauthorized means, interfering with its operation, or using it to violate any law.
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that the readings are accurate or suitable for any purpose.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or for any loss arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will update the date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. Any disputes will be resolved in the state or federal courts located in California.
